Even in a small bathroom there's enough room to fit a decent size bath, you just have to be a little crafty. One of our favourite ways to achieve this is the bath and shower combo! When it comes to having a shower and bath combo, you need to make sure the bath is designed for this use. Shower baths will have a non-slip bottom for safety reasons when standing in the bath, they also have a slight lip around the edge of the bath and the reason for this is that it directs any water spray back into the bath tub, instead of creating a puddle out on the floor.
While we love a floral shower curtain, it does tend to date the bathroom. Frame-less shower screens are perfect for a modern shower bath as they will not only keep the water from spraying out into the open, but they give the illusion of more space as you can see through to the wall, so you're not cutting off the bathroom visually.
The choice is yours when it comes to a shower selection. We see a lot of people using rail showers with the detachable hand shower, however, recently we are seeing a lot of people have double shower heads. They are mounting a rain shower from the ceiling, and also having a rail shower on the wall, a little bit of additional luxury. Have some fun with your tapware colours as well, brushed nickel and brushed gold are our favourites.
